Howdy! I grew up on the high plains of Wyoming, where our topography and pressure create winds that’ll whip 50+ mph and it’s totally normal. After graduating university, I spent a few years traveling before moving to Seattle and discovering that wind is way more fun on the water!
I volunteer at the Center for Wooden Boats, where I’m fortunate to have access to a fleet of 12′ to 20′ historic daysailors and incredible views of the city. In the majority of the Puget Sound races I’m aboard a beautiful, Italian, 40′ Grand Soleil and competed in the Swiftsure International Yacht Race the last three years. I am beyond excited to be joining such talented (lady) sailors on this adventure and am looking forward to the warm trade winds!
